Dear Friends of Ann:
My lovely Annie left us April 5, peacefully after a long 5 year battle with ALS that she fought every day with courage and grace, more than I could have exhibited.
She awoke that morning, smiling and ready for another day, but she was taken suddenly while preparations were being made for her morning routine…something for which I am grateful, for even in its sadness, she had a spirit and will to live that wasn’t to be defeated.
To say that I am and our family is lost without her is an understatement, but we will look to her for courage and purpose.
I want to thank all that have done so much to help me keep Ann well cared for at home. Rather than flowers or other condolences, continued contributions through Graybeards, the charity that has been so helpful to Ann, would be welcome. Graybeards will not only be of continued assistance to me, but to other families with ALS home care needs.
From the bottom of my and our family’s hearts, thank you all so very much.
