It is no great thing to live long, nor even to live forever, but it is a great thing to live well.”
— St. Augustine
Living well as we live longer is a good way to describe our opening adult education series for 2015. Join us on Wednesday evenings as we learn how blessed we are with community resources that can enable us to live abundantly as we get older. Then come and learn about the new Presbyterian Hymnal – there’s a lot more to it than just hymns or the color of the cover. During Lent we will spend time together in quiet, meditative contemplative worship. We will offer prayers, light candles, welcome silence, and sing in the style of Taize and Iona. In the midst of the busy lives we lead, come and find a quiet place, a respite, where you can attend to the Spirit and find your own life centered and renewed. Then in April and May, join us as we turn to Jesus and the many questions that he asked, and the few that he answered. Transformation is the end we seek as we wrestle with his questions on the journey of faith. See you on Wednesday nights.
